I have always loved painting and when I retired, I decided that it was time to take some lessons and hopefully learn some basic theory and techniques.

I have been a member of the Fordingbridge Art Club for over ten years, and have attended a variety of lessons and workshops, a residential art course and a wonderful painting holiday in Venice!

​

I also had the opportunity to spend a year working on an Art Foundation course with the artist Trevor Waugh. This was an amazing experience, enjoyable, but also a real challenge in many ways. I went on to work for a second year with Trevor focussing on watercolour.
