Many years ago, while living in Lymington, I started painting under the guidance of Alison Bolton, mainly using acrylics.

 

Circumstances changed and I moved to Fordingbridge. I went to two painting courses in Ringwood library which prompted me to join the Fordingbridge Art Club and attend weekly lessons with Russell Bignold. Under Russell's guidance I have found an aptitude for tonal work and portraiture.
 
I love the countryside and I walk a lot so I still like to paint landscapes. I use various media - graphite, watercolour, acrylic and oil.
