I was trained to paint in traditional oils but now primarily work with water-based oils. I have also work in acrylics and enjoy pen and ink sketching. I have attended a leisure painting class with Angela Corben for a number of years.

 

In order to give freshness, I like to paint quickly. For example, the Welsh scenes were each completed in 40 - 45 minutes using a palette knife only.
