Exhibition Dates and Times
Handing In at Avonway Annexe: Friday 24th October, 10am – 12pm
Preview Evening: Friday 24th October, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Exhibition Opens: Saturday 25th October, 10am
Opening Hours: Saturday 25th October to Saturday 1st November 10am – 4pm
Exhibition Closes: Saturday, 1st November at 4pm
Unsold Work Collection: Sunday, 2nd November 10am – 12pm (not before please)
Stewarding at the Exhibition

All exhibitors are expected to share in stewarding
-
Please bring your diaries with you when you drop off your art and see Felicity Singleton to offer your services regarding stewarding

Non exhibiting members are also invited to steward

Some members will be needed for the emergency/reserve list
Categories of Works - Artists may submit work in any of the following categories:

Framed original works (for hanging)

Unframed canvasses (for hanging)

Mounted, unframed originals (for browser racks)
-
Mounted, unframed prints (for browser racks)

Cards: hand-painted or printed
-
3-dimensional work and sculpture
Presentation of Pictures

Ready for hanging with D rings approximately one third of the way down from top of frame with picture cord pulled taut
-
Paintings on canvas may be submitted without a frame, provided the sides are purposely finished and the work is ready to hang with D rings as per framed art
-
Unsuitable frames including clip frames will not be accepted
Conditions for Submission - General:

Commission on all sales is 20% - a reduction on last year
-
All works are exhibited at artists’ own risk
-
All work must be original (the artist’s own work and composition) and must not have been exhibited before at Fordingbridge
-
All work must have been completed between July 2024 and October 2025
-
Each artist can submit a maximum of 4 paintings
Framed Original Works and Unframed Canvases (with finished edges)

Sizes (relate to any dimension and are approximate):
- SMALL – up to 30 cm – there will be a separate wall assigned at the exhibition for ‘small’ paintings
- MEDIUM – up to 60 cm
- LARGE – up to 100 cm

All work must be clearly labelled at the back with the following details:
- Title of Work
- Medium Used
- Name of Artist
- Price - only one 'Not For Sale' picture per artist will be accepted

Minimum selling prices:
- SMALL: £40 minimum
- MEDIUM: £60 minimum
- LARGE: £80 minimum

Lucinda Nicholas will contact you to let you know when a piece of your work has been sold and taken by the buyer to enable you to arrange a replacement

Up to 5 original works unframed and mounted as appropriate

Works must be firmly backed and neatly covered with transparent film (not cling film)

Clearly label each item with Title of Work, Artist Name, Medium Used and Price

Please price in round figures – multiples of 50p

Commission of 20% will be taken by FAC on all sales
Mounted, unframed prints (for browser racks)

Up to 3 prints (mounted and wrapped in transparent film) per artist

Works must be firmly backed and neatly covered with transparent film – except oil paintings (not cling film)

Clearly identify each item with Title of Work, Artist Name, Medium Used and Price

Please price in round figures – multiples of 50p

Commission of 20% will be taken by FAC on all sales
Cards: hand-painted or printed

A maximum of 50 hand-painted cards and/or printed cards will be accepted

All cards to be priced at £2.50 please

No late additions or withdrawals will be permitted

Unsold cards must NOT be removed at the close of the exhibition until sales totals have been agreed

3D work and sculpture - Due to limited space, large or unwieldy items cannot be accepted

Up to 3 pieces of work per artist

Works must be stable when on a flat surface

Submission Process

Please complete the entry form to submit your work and send to Lucinda Nicholas before Saturday 11th October 2025

For original works, including 3D art, submit the form with appropriate fees (see below)

We reserve the right to refuse any late entries

Phone entries will not be accepted

Please photograph your submissions for entry into the FAC Gallery before they have been glazed (to avoid reflections and glare) and send your photo, Title of Work and Artist Name to Laura - Email Address Here

Please ensure photos are of a good quality, straight on, no reflections and show just the artwork, no frame or background
