Invited to exhibit a selection of her paintings in the foyer of Hyde Hall in Frogham, Fordingbridge Art Club member, Belinda Vize has painted from memories of a happy childhood living with her family in old railway carriages on Chilly Hill from 1945 to 1986, where her mother Eryl Vize, was also an accomplished artist.

" To forget the past is to deny it ever existed!
The distant halcyon days of childhood were lived within these decaying historical carriages. They formed part of the ramshackle dwelling, now long gone, that was home to the Vize family from 1945 till 1986, when things changed forever. "
