WOODLAND WORKSHOP

Virtually all tables were taken at Saturday's woodland-themed workshop with Josie Tipler.

Everyone first prepared a board with tissue paper, paste and acrylic paint as a base, then created an artwork in their own style, inspired by Josie's multi-media painting of a woodland scene.

The random creases in the tissue paper of the prepared ground encouraged imaginative explorations of tree limbs and twig formations and produced some remarkable results.
